Its easy, takes 5 minutes to prepare and 20 to cook. Its perfect as a starter
for dinner parties also. Give it a go.
A good quality Camembert cheese ( I've found the better the quality the better the taste, but cheaper versions will work just fine)
Bay leaves/rosemary - I used both
Optional: Jamie Olivers Sea salt, chilli, pepper seasoning (it's delicious and adds a kick)
Bread for dipping / caramelised onion to add extra flavour.
1 - Remove all packaging from Camembert, place in lid.
2 - Fork the cheese and apply olive oil, then stuff it with as much garlic as you like
3 - apply herbs + spices, and place bay leaf on top
4 - cook in oven at 200 degrees celsius for 20-23 min (fan assisted ovens, other appliances will vary)
Serve with caramelised onion and a picking of rosemary and fresh bread for dipping, enjoy.
Let me know how it goes, any other suggestions are welcome.
